It’s a forum that Educate and Empower schools in Uganda, by equipping students with ideas of conserving and contributing to the environment by planting fruit trees for food and shade providing in schools   churches and hospitals.

What we do

We organize Eco Summer Camps to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and to provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about the environment and how to preserve it. During the summer camp we visit natural forests, rivers, mountains, lakes, rift valleys and game parks.

Our main focus here is to find ways of introducing environmental conservation school clubs, and we believe that schools can play a vital role in this initiative. We have been able to organize camps in different places since 2016.

2021 Summer camp in             Kasese

2022 Summer camp in              JINJA

2023 Summer camp in             JINJA

We also organize campaigns like “The Birthday Tree Cake Campaign” this  celebrates the beauty of life while emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation. We believe that birthdays are not only an occasion for joyous celebrations but also an opportunity to make a positive impact on our planet. By planting a tree on each birthday, we enable every student to leave a lasting legacy, fostering a sense of responsibility and connection to nature.

How does it work?

It’s simple! On birthdays, instead of a traditional cake, we opt for a Birthday Tree Cake cutting and planting—a delicious treat topped with seeds ready to be planted. Whether you celebrate with family, friends, or classmates, this conscious choice transforms a special moment into a lifelong commitment to environmental sustainability.

Environmental education

Environmental education allows individuals to explore environmental issues, engages in problem solving, and takes action to improve the environment. As a result, they develop a deeper understanding of environmental issues and have the skills to make informed and responsible decisions. Green schools Forum is a project in which students and individuals gain awareness of their environment and acquire knowledge, skills, values, experiences, and also the determination, which will enable them to act – individually and collectively to solve present and future environmental problems.

Plastic management

Our plastic recycling department in Uganda based in schools aims to tackle the growing problem of plastic waste while instilling environmental awareness and responsibility in young people.

Through our program, we educate students about the importance of recycling and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to actively participate in plastic recycling initiatives.

By establishing recycling centers within schools, we create an easily accessible and sustainable solution to plastic waste management.

In this area, our mission is to empower and educate the youth of Uganda to become active participants in conserving the environment through plastic recycling. By promoting sustainable practices and fostering a sense of responsibility, we aim to create a generation of environmentally conscious individuals who contribute to a cleaner and healthier community.

Our vision is to create a society in which plastic waste is minimized, natural resources are conserved, and the environment is protected. We envision schools in Uganda as hubs for recycling initiatives, where students not only learn about the importance of recycling but actively engage in collecting, sorting, and processing plastic waste.

Through our efforts, we aspire to create a ripple effect of positive change that extends beyond schools and into the wider community.
