Albatros Island is a board game developed by the coordinator of Russia Waste Hub Olga Mironenko and the Taiga project. The game teaches the basics of waste sorting and recycling, as well as other environmentally responsible habits for everyday life. In the process of the game players will get a variety of tips from how to behave when out in nature to how to shop with minimal footprint and what industrial pollution is. All this will be happening against the background of trying to save animal species from extinction, escape the Swamp and the landfills and reach the Albatros Island in time to see the living albatros.
